Installation Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential QDF8M & RSC Metal Catalyst
Here’s described the installation of a Quaife ATB limited slip differential QDF8M and an RSC metal cat. For an even better result in execution and end result, it was especially paid attention to some details.
The mounting material.
The RSC metal catalyst.
From above all necessary of the gearbox removed.

And ready to disassemble.
On the fastener attached.
Housing cover remove.
Disassembled is fast.
The Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential QDF8M.
The ratio of the OEM differential removed.
New ball bearing pressed.
Ratio mounted.
The Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential QDF8M was mounted in the gearbox housing.
The remaining parts reinstalled.
Everything cleaned, sealant and gearbox housing on it.
The rest of the outside mounted, ready to install.
And the gearbox again in it.
And now the RSC metal catalyst conversion. Here still the original catalyst, space completely filled.
Ready for the installing of the RSC metal catalyst.
The lambda probes rebuilt. The RSC metal catalyst can be ordered with or without heat protection tape (option).
From below all mounted again.
From above, everything was fixed again. The second probe connection, including the screw, is included with every RSC metal catalyst. Here, the measuring probe can be connected for mappings.
The original shield was re-assembled.
The remaining parts were also reassembled from above.
Again a familiar picture.
Done.
